These are nice swimming short for anyone that doesn't like a bikini bottom. They are a bit shorter than what is pictured and being 40+, I'd like them a bit longer. But they are so comfortable and well made that I will still wear them. I just plan to wear a bikini underneath for 'bending over'. :-)
I have not worn them for swimming yet and will update the review if the swim test this weekend turns into a disaster.
The draw string only adjust the waist about an inch or so. So it is important to get the correct size. I found the size 10 to be a match to my size 10 Levi Jeans. Low cut jeans boot cut.
The shorts have plenty of thigh room too. Not tight and don't flare out. I don't expect any issues with them riding up while swimming.

these shorts are comfortable, well made and strong. My husband has several pairs of the men's shorts and is very happy, which is why I gave the women's shorts a try. I am sold on the quality and fit, and I highly recommend them.

For all those moms out there, searching for trendy swim attire that has enough coverage to chase a toddler in can be a difficult feat. I am happy to say I finally found shorts that cover what needs to be covered, but are still stylish for an active mom!
Great for a sand castle building day at the beach!
