I got this for casual weekly laps, nothing too intense so I went two sizes up from my usual clothing size. If you are doing serious training than go for your regular size since it's supposed to be snug to prevent drag and it loosens up once it's wet. The high leg openings are normal for Speedo and you will not get wedgies.
So far I've used it with the padding and I'll probably remove it but it's good support if your chest is more prominent.
The seller was a little slow on the shipping but overall it's a great buy.

The free floating cloth laying within each hydrobra pocket has folded down and now appears as bulky, lumpy bits of cloth under each intended bra spot. The folds show through quite unattractively when wearing the suit. The bra pockets do not appear to be accessible in order to reach in and unfold the free floating bits of cloth...a design fail.

I've been searching for a long time for a swimsuit I could train and compete in that also offered a little extra support than the normal swimsuit. This one is pretty near perfect. I've already done a few lap sessions in it. It's very comfortable and holds you in place. I removed the cups (kind of find them annoying). But, other than that, this is a great product.
